Common questions
The step count looks wrong.
Spot Me reads steps from Apple Health. Open the Health app and confirm your step source is enabled. If you wear an Apple Watch, make sure it is paired and syncing. If steps in Health are correct but Spot Me shows a different number, force quit and reopen the app.
I don’t see the widget.
Long press your Home Screen, tap the plus button in the top corner, search for Spot Me, and add the widget. If it shows blank, open the app once to refresh the data.
How do I change my goals?
Tap the settings icon in the top left of the home screen. Adjust steps, calories, protein, and gym session targets, and toggle which goals are required for a complete day.
How do I log a workout?
From the Workout tab, pick a saved split or tap Custom to build a new one. Log sets, reps, and weight as you go. Spot Me will run the rest timer between sets and show a Live Activity on your Lock Screen. Tap Done when you finish.
Will my data sync to another device?
Yes. Spot Me syncs through your iCloud private database, so signing in to the same Apple ID on your iPhone and iPad keeps everything in sync. If iCloud is disabled or unavailable, the app keeps working with on-device storage and syncs once iCloud reconnects.
How do I delete my data?
On your device, delete the Spot Me app. To remove the iCloud copy, open the Settings app, tap your Apple ID, then iCloud, then Manage Account Storage (or Manage Storage), find Spot Me, and tap Delete Data. Your data is then gone everywhere.
What iOS version do I need?
Spot Me requires iOS 17 or later. Live Activities and the Dynamic Island work on iPhone models that support them.
